This morning I ate the word from Revelation 3:14-22.
The precious Holy Spirit showed me how He knocks the door of my heart so often and invites me to a deep friendship and Fellowship with Him. He doesn't force His way in, but waits for me to clear away the noise of modern life and welcome Him. This beautiful text convicts me of my lukewarm moments and reminds me that His correction is pure love. It challenges me to open the door daily, trade my self-sufficiency for His presence, and enjoy the ultimate comfort of sharing life's table with Him.
I realize now how often I let worldly comfort make me blind to my true spiritual poverty. He is offering me real gold refined in the fire, white garments for my shame, and clear sight to see what truly matters. I no longer want to sit on the fence of complacency or let the busyness of my days drown out His gentle knock.
Today, I choose to repent, throw open the door completely, and let His love transform me into an overcomer who will one day sit with Him on His throne....❤️
Your quiet time isn't just for you.
