Psalm 20
Verse 1 - "May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble"
These verses are a proclamation to the world. When troubles rises, the world often gives quick solutions (like when we want to get out of trouble, friends and other people might say - just tell lies that it will be fine), false security etc. But these verses say that God will hear, protect and send help from above. We just need to pray and have faith in God's work.
Verses 6-8 elaborates that we should trust in His name and not on numbers. In the old times, the chariots and horses represented strength, status just like in today's world how much money, influence, technology you have represents the status that you carry.
But these are not where our ultimate hope lies. Our hope is on God. Those who trust in Him maybe surrounded but they will not be shaken.
Your quiet time isn't just for you.
