The KOG is upside down

James 2

Today I ate the Word from James 2.

"Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." This made me pause. Our faith should be visible in the way we live. It’s not enough to say I believe in Jesus.. my actions should show that I truly follow Him.

And today, we had FORGE Leadership meet online. From the little time I spent there, I was reminded again that the Kingdom of God is upside down! The world looks at status, wealth and importance, but God looks at people differently. James reminds us not to show favouritism, especially towards the rich. In God’s Kingdom, the values are completely different from the world’s.

Precious Holy Spirit, help my faith become visible through my life and help me live according to your kingdom. Please help the readers as well. Father God, I love you.
