Practice What You Preach

1 Corinthians 9:27 - "But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached it to others, I myself should become disqualified."

We should make sure that we discipline our body and live according to God’s law, so that we don’t end up losing eternal life.

It’s not enough for us to preach the Gospel to others; we also need to practice what we preach and keep ourselves disciplined. When other people see the way we live, they should also be encouraged to turn away from their wrong ways and come closer to God.

So, while we preach the Gospel, we should also make sure that our own lives are in line with it, so that we don’t become disqualified ourselves.
