Known by Name, Held by Grace

Exodus 33

I wondered why God told Moses that He knew him by name and that Moses had found favour in His sight,

But in reality there was nothing so great about him,
then I saw God saying 'I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.'

So I concluded that it's not anything great about you, it's about growing out from 'I live for me' to 'I live for Him.'
