Revelation 3: 14-22

Today I ate the word from Revelation 3:14-22. This is the letter from Jesus to the church in Laodicea, and as I'm the church I ate the word in that perspective.
First of all Jesus is saying he's the Amen, the faithful, the true witness and the ruler of God's creation. So guess who's talking to me! Again, in this chapter Jesus is saying that he knows my deeds. He's saying it upsets him that I'm neither cold or hot, but luke warm! (I wonder why they call it lukewarm, they can call it medium warm right... I mean, who's luke??)Jesus is warning me of self-sufficiency, spiritual pride and deception. And offering 3 things - gold refined in fire (True, tested faith and spiritual wealth that trials cannot destroy), white clothes to wear (God's righteousness to cover their spiritual shame), and salve to put on eyes (Spiritual insight to see their true condition and God's truth clearly). The most comforting verse i ate today was verse 19. THOSE WHOM I LOVE I REBUKE AND DISCIPLINE. SO BE EARNEST AND REPENT. Jesus is also saying that he's knocking at the door. My beloved, please come and sit with me. He's desiring for an intimate relationship (eat with me). Me too, Lord. Please help me honor you and set my table right.

FINALLY... the 9th promise!!! If I'm victorious, Jesus will give me the right to sit with him on the throne, just as he was victorious and the father made him sit on the throne. Abbah... I don't desire much. I need you, and you alone. Help me to be victorious. Heal my heart, body and soul. Give me your peace and comfort. Help me to come out of luke-warm-ness. Never let me fall into that trap. I desire to have a deep friendship with you more than ever. I desire to eat with youLord. I desire to sit on the throne with you. Do you see me? (Ik you do, just let me know in-person)

Precious Holy spirit, as I desire to become more like Jesus, please guide me with your strong right hand over my weak and feeble hands... Heal me Lord. I look forward to obey the word, to submit to your will. Father God, thanks for loving me so much. I love you too.In Jesus' name, Amen!
