I meditated on Ephesians 4:17-32, 5:1-32, 6:1-23
These scriptures were like a sword to my heart. It reminded me that I should live a life worthy of the calling God has called me with. I pray for unity in the body of Christ. 4:17-32 really opened my eyes to see what's wrong. I pray to wear Christ over and over again until I become like him!
5:1 brought tears to my eyes - I'm a dearly loved child to God? Wow. That word! "DEARLY LOVED"?! By the creator of this universe?! Child?! I'm stunned. I felt like I'm reading a love letter from God. I hope that I could also live a life of Love.
Ephesians 5 showed me a lot of my blind spots and led me to introspect and draw back to private conversations with my friend, the precious Holyspirit. Ephesians 6 reminded me that my focus shouldn't be on fighting the battles but wearing the full Armor of God. I have decided to wear Christ, spend more time in the scriptures and prayer, and moreover change my focus from fighting spirits of darkness to putting full Armor of God and focusing on Jesus, my champion!
Amen.
Your quiet time isn't just for you.
