Don’t Just Read It. Live It.

Today I ate the Word from James 1.

From this chapter, the verse “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only" made me pause. How many times do I hear the Word, get excited about it, and then forget to actually live it? The word is not just something to read and feel good about.. it has to become my life!

I also loved how James says to ask God for wisdom and to consider it joy when we face trials. Trials are not always easy, but God can use them to produce perseverance and make me more mature in him.

Precious Holy Spirit, help me not just to hear Your Word but to live it. Keep transforming me into the image of my beloved Jesus. Help the readers as well.
