Psalm 81:6-7 (NKJV)
"I removed his shoulder from the burden:
His hands were freed from the baskets.
You called in trouble, and I delivered you;
I answered you in the secret place of thunder."
Many a times even as children of God, our flesh fails to discern whether our analysis of circumstances is ‘Having Faith in God’ or ‘Being Delusional’.
We force ourselves to over analyze every circumstance before us, forgetting to acknowledge that the Big ‘I AM’ is in control of it all.
We were never created to carry ‘burdens’. Infact, we were never created to carry them ALONE.
The word says ‘Cast your burdens unto the Lord and he will sustain you’.
Now the word ‘Sustain’ is an interesting choice of vocabulary.
It doesn’t say the Lord will ‘help’, ‘aid’, ‘provide emotional support’ but rather it makes use of the word-sustain which means to Endure.
As fellow sheep, we must remember our place in the pen and submit to our shepherd. We are all equipped for a divine assignment and once we realize that the Lord does not call the equipped but he equips the called, we will be freed of our baskets of Encumbrance.
Being in the flesh, it is easier said than done but He’s still working on you, and you’ll get there in His time. Even in the midst of what may look like a ‘secret place of thunder’ He is able to bring Deliverance unto us
Amen.
Your quiet time isn't just for you.
