Today I ate the word from Mark 11.
And I saw Jesus... My Jesus!
The King who entered Jerusalem on a donkey! A King choosing humility. My Jesus!❤️
He didn't have to PROVE how great He was. He was so secure in His identity before the Father that humility simply flowed from him....
Then Jesus cleansed the temple, and I could see how seriously he took what belonged to His Father. That made me pause. SELAH.. If Jesus looked at my heart today, what would He find there? Is there anything that has slowly taken the place that belongs to Him? Am I allowing Jesus to be the centre, or have other things quietly occupied that space? I remember that my body is temple of the precious Holyspirit, but knowledge isn't enough. Abbah, Help me!
Then Jesus teaches about faith, prayer and forgiveness. I love how Jesus doesn't just call us to admire him, but to follow him and become like him. A Christovert - someone who follows Jesus and intentionally becomes more like him (ofc by no self-efforts, but through the precious Holyspirit)- is called to carry His humility, faith, prayerfulness and heart for people...
My dear friend, My Precious Holy Spirit,
Please help me to keep looking at Jesus. Please make me more like Jesus, a little more than yesterday. Help me to trust Him, pray with faith, forgive freely and keep my heart clean before Him. Help the readers too. Father God, I love You!
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Your quiet time isn't just for you.
